The online registration window is open from 08 February 2026 to 08 March 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

Minimum Age Limit : Candidates must have completed 17 years as on December 31, 2025.

Maximum Age Limit* : As per the NEET eligibility criteria, there shall be no upper age limit to appear for the entrance exam.

All India Quota Seats

Foreign Nationals and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), NRIs, Person of Indian Orgin (PIO) is entitled to the reservation under 15% All India Quota Seats.

J & K Candidates are not eligible for 15% All India Quota Seats.

Qualification

The candidate who is appearing or has appeared in the 12th STD may apply for NEET. Their admission is confirmed only after clearing the 12th Board Exam

Passed the first year of the University’s three years’ degree course in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Passed B.Sc, with any two of the Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) / Biotechnology from an Indian University.

No. of Attempts

Candidates can attempt NEET as many times as they wish until they attain the maximum age limit.

Each correct question carry 4 marks

1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response There will be no negative marking for unanswered questions

NTA Public Notice : Instructions on update of Aadhaar Card/ UDID Card/ Category Certificate before filling of online Application Form for NEET (UG) 2026 registration.

Aadhaar Card : Ensure that their Aadhaar Card is accurate, valid and duly updated in all respects. (Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Photograph, Address, Biometric Information.
UDID Card : Candidate are advised to that UDID Card is valid, updated and renewed.
Category Certificate : Candidate are advised to that Category Certificate (EWS/ SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL) is updated and valid.
