NEET or the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is the single entrance exam for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Veterinary, and other medical/paramedical courses in India. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) (or NEET (UG)), formerly the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT).
All India pre-medical entrance test for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), B.Sc (Nursing), B.Sc (Life Science), Siddha, Unani Yunani, Homoeopathy and equivalent AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.) courses in government and private institutions in India and also, for those intending to pursue primary medical qualification abroad. NEET is mandatory for Indian/Overseas Candidates for admission to a medical University in India.

NEET 2025 SYLLABUS
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2025 syllabus has been officially released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and encompasses topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as outlined in the NCERT curriculum for Classes 11 and 12.

ELIGIBILITY
To appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
1. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have completed 10+2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects.
- Those appearing for the 12th board exam in the current academic year are also eligible to apply.
2. Minimum Marks Requirement
- General Category – Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
- OBC/SC/ST Category – Minimum 40% aggregate in PCB.
- Physically Handicapped (PH) –
- General PH – Minimum 45% in PCB.
- OBC/SC/ST PH – Minimum 40% in PCB.
- Note: Mathematics scores are not considered for this examination.
3. Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 17 years as of December 31st of the admission year.
- Maximum Age: No upper age limit (as per the latest regulations).
4. Nationality
- Indian citizens, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and Foreign Nationals can apply.
5. Number of Attempts
There is no limit on the number of attempts for NEET.
